Origin

The earth is dry and the rainfall irregular. Biting wind rolls through the rugged cliffs of the young, coastal mountains. During New Zealand’s summer months, white blossoms accumulate in the hollows, spreading their characteristic fragrance. It is precisely here where the wild, secluded raw power of Wairarapa thrives, and where a rare, natural wonder takes place: the Manuka bushes produce a nectar that is so rich in content that the bees are able to produce an even stronger honey. Harvesting of our Manuka MGO 800 can begin.

With a certified methylglyoxal concentration of over 800 milligrams per kilogram, this variety is a real rarity. Only around 10 percent of Manuka honey reaches such extraordinary potency.

Flavour

Its smooth, soft texture is accompanied by gentle notes of caramel and a slightly herbal finish. A full-bodied and active honey like no other.

The quality and origin of our Manuka honey is a top priority for us. For this reason, we only use honey from selected beekeepers. Beekeepers we know in person and who have been working professionally with us for years.

In order to ensure and safeguard the quality of the honey, we rely on extensive testing procedures. The MGO content is confirmed by independent laboratories in New Zealand and Germany. Our honey is always free from glyphosate and other residues. Furthermore, studies into different, key parameters for the International markets are conducted, including the enzyme content.
